Financial Director and Media Producer
Our ever expanding film/TV production company is currently searching for a Financial Director to join our team to oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation and profit and loss reporting. They will also oversee all accounting activities related to income auditing, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable collection, tax compliance and payroll. A secondary role would be to also work as a Line Producer, being involved in the whole process of producing feature films, television and corporate videos. Work closely with the Director and Production Manager to ensure that everything required is organised and in place so that production can proceed as scheduled.
Oversee financial operations of our company
Manage accounting personnel
Conduct weekly and monthly financial assessments and generate reports
Establish budgets in accordance with the requirements of the company and ongoing projects
Work with the Founder and with project Directors to ensure they stay on track financially
Develop annual financial plans and projections for the company
Seek out practices and methods for effective cooperation both international and abroad
Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions, accountants, government institutions, NGOs, and other production companies
Update and implement financial policies and procedures
Manage a production’s budget and scheduling
Serve as the bridge between the Director, Producer, and the crew.
Hire key members of the crew, negotiate deals with vendors
Supervise the preparation of the film's budget, and the day to day planning and running of the production.
Oversee the joint planning, negotiations, implementation and accounting for production

Proven experience in a similar role
Exceptional communication skills in English
Working knowledge of Eastern Armenian preferred
Well-organized and detail oriented.
